There is to be a big ‘Start-up Champions’ event for new and potential business start-ups, on 19th November 2014. The venue will be Vale Park football stadium, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. Magnum photographer Mark Power has been commissioned to create new work in Stoke-on-Trent around the theme of “The City of Six Towns”. He will be giving a talk on his work on Wednesday 8th October 2014 (6pm-7.30pm) at the The Science Centre, Staffordshire University. Tickets are £5.
